THIS year's Tregadillett Fun Day event was definitely bigger, better and much busier than any before. This was the third year in the last eight when fine weather was really welcome.

The event was declared open by the Mayor and Mayoress of Launceston, Cllr Paul O'Brien and his wife, Rosemary. It was quite fitting as they actually live in the parish. In his remarks he commented on, how from previous years, the profits had been used for the benefit of all who live in the village and the parish. With an estimated attendance of 1,200, all of the 90 helpers in charge of the individual attractions were kept busy.
