A LAUNCESTON-based haulage firm is accelerating its growth plans after experiencing a rise in new business over the past two years.

Aldridge Transport was founded in 1995 and specialises in transporting large or unusual goods, working predominantly with businesses in the agricultural and commercial sector.

After experiencing a period of expansion and an increase in customer demand, current director Ian Aldridge decided to move the firm to purpose-built premises at Scarne Industrial Estate in Launceston.

The new site includes a specialist MOT and repair centre for trucks, cars, taxis and light commercial vehicles, as well as additional rooms that can be rented by customers and external companies to conduct training courses.
