THERE is considerable interest in North Cornwall in the transition movement which started in Totnes and is spreading via Falmouth and Penzance into other parts of the country.

This is a movement designed to encourage a sustainable life-style in the face of an increasingly worrying global scarcity of non-sustainable commodities of which petroleum is the most obvious.
