HOLSWORTHY'S public toilets and Manor Office could be closed, as Torridge District Council is forced to make savings of £1.7-million over the next two years.
Although, the council's budget will not be revealed until next February, it has been confirmed that the council's non-statutory services are most likely to be hit, including services such as public toilets, maintenance of parks, gardens and cemeteries and car parking.
By sharing services, reducing staff and changing contracts, Torridge has saved £2.1-million in the last two years, however future cuts could impact on towns and parishes substantially.
In Holsworthy, concerns over the future of the town's public toilets and Manor Office, have been raised.
