LARGE crowds packed the streets of Holsworthy last Saturday, to watch the town's annual carnival and with Rowland's funfair in full swing, it was as ever a colourful, enjoyable and well supported event.
In the afternoon judging of the children's carnival took place in front of a large crowd of onlookers, at Well Park car park.
There were floats by Holsworthy beavers, (Mad Hatter's Tea Party), scouts (celebrating 20 years of their headquarters) and cubs (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and a number of walking characters among whom in his push chair was nine month old Ronnie Schiller as a future world snooker champion.
