LAUNCESTON Chamber of Commerce had an amazing two days for its Easter egg scavenger hunt last week.

The town was buzzing, as over 225 children took part, along with their mums, dads, grannies, grandads and friends, hunting down Easter treats in 26 of the Launceston Chamber of Commerce members’ businesses.

A spokesperson for the chamber said: “There has been a wonderful buzz around Launceston the last few days and the feedback has totally blown us away! So we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone and we can’t wait til next time.”

The chamber organised the event to showcase the vast array of businesses in the town.

Due to the high success of the hunt, it is expected to be even bigger next year!

Tash Baskerville from the chamber said: “It was so rewarding to see all the beaming smiles and we can’t wait to share what we have in store for Launceston over the next 12 months. Thank you to all our members, for the donations and to everyone who attended.”
