MEMBERS of the Camelford Town Band with their conductor Steve Wagstaff helped to make the annual harvest festival at Lanteglos Church a tuneful event.

The festival included one of the most popular hymns in the UK We Plough the Fields and Scatter.

Steven Tyrell on the organ alternated with the band to make a great sound with some lusty singing by the congregation.

Money raised in the collection and through produce sales was divided between the band and Medicines Sans Frontieres — Doctors Without Borders.

Anything in a tin or packet was donated to Camelford Food Bank.

The service was shared between the Anglican Church and the Camelford Celebration Church.

Clare Salzmann took the service and Joan Keating read the prayers.
