HOLSWORTHY Town Council has announced the winners of this year's Holsworthy in Bloom Competition.

The very worthy, overall winner of 'Best Residential Garden' was Gloria Dymond, who was commended for her stunning garden display in Foresters Road.

Judging took place on St Peter's Fair Day, by an independent judging panel made up of retired journalist, Graham Andrews, and Ken Brooks from Brooks Garden Centre, Bude.

Mr Andrews said: "Ken and I thought the standard of gardens was excellent, but that the Dymonds' display was quite exemplary and beautifully crafted."
