THE grand total for the summer event Music in the Market, at the Wilsey Down Hotel at Hallworthy, has been donated to three local charities.

After a raffle and an auction of the leftover drinks from the event, on Friday, November 16 a total of £13,545 was split between the Cornwall Air Ambulance, Heartswell Camelford and Bude Cancer Research UK.

Representatives from each of the charities attended the presentation event at Wilsey Down to accept the cheques.
