Another year, another successful St Breward Ten Tors challenge, blessed with fine weather and no serious injuries or other problems.

The 34th annual walk saw around 300 walkers take part to raise money for good causes.

For the first time ever, entry to the event had to be closed, several weeks before the actual event, because of the number of applications. Most people commented yet again on the successful way the event was organised.

Although not organised as a race, the first man to finish the 14-mile course, Martin Jago of St Breward Football Club did so in a time of 2 hours 4 minutes.

The quickest woman was Claire Ste-Croix in 2 hours 49 mins.
