Dogs in ties and draped in feather boas and beads may not be the usual thing you'd see in Tintagel, but on Saturday, the Camelot Castle Hotel hosted its first Dog Gala Ball. The theme was fancy dress or black tie for dogs, and the canine companions did not fail to impress. During the event, there was a star prize for the dog that looks most like a celebrity and also special prizes for the best dog tricks, best costume and for the best owner's dog story. A 'doggie raffle' was also held and all proceeds will be donated to the Cornwall Dog and Rescue Centres.
