A TINTAGEL woman who gave her son one of her kidneys over seven years ago has been joined in donating an organ — by her husband.

Twenty-nine-year-old Will Ryder, who was diagnosed with a rare condition at an early age recently underwent a second kidney transplant, after the one his mum donated in 2003 failed early last year.

Dad Phil, who moved to Tintagel with wife Diana 18 months ago, said he had no hesitation in offering his organ to his son.
