COUNCILLOR Peter Moores was re-elected as Mayor of Bude-Stratton Town Council at its annual meeting held on Thursday, May 5.
Cllr Moores, who has held the position for the previous two terms, was nominated by Cllr Frank Partridge, who commended the work he had done in this time and said: "There was no reason for you not to continue."
He received a majority vote from the council and said he was "delighted" to accept the role for another year.
