WHEN the creators of a supernatural sleuth on the trail of a legendary king required a reality check-in for their hero they knew just where to come: What better place for myth and magic to meet modern detection than a Cornish bed and breakfast?

So the scene was set for the paranormal private eye rejoicing in the apt if unlikely name of Faust Junior to meet guesthouse proprietor Shelley Barratt and a recording session for a new children's drama: 'Chasing Arthur'.

When a camping holiday on the Cornish coast is washed out one wet and windy night the extraordinary Mr Faust is forced to seek shelter at nearby Orchard Lodge, in Boscastle.
