TWO youngsters, who have read more than 500 books between them, were recently presented with special certificates by Holsworthy mayor Cllr John Allen. They received the certificates at Holsworthy Library last Wednesday. Amelia Wilson, 9, of Holsworthy, has read 200 books over the past two years, and Nathaniel Bridgman, 10, of Shebbear has read more than 300 since he was 6. Amelia said she loves stories about princesses and fairies and her favourite authors are Jacqueline Wilson and Enid Blyton. Nathaniel prefers adventures stories about mythical creatures and his favourite writer is Rick Riordan.
