The Patient Group at Holsworthy Medical Centre are celebrating ten years of involvement with the practice.
During the past ten years the practice has changed a great deal and the Patient Group have been instrumental in some of the changes such as the change to urgent appointments, the re-organisation of the waiting room, the provision of a quiet waiting area and improving patients' privacy at the reception desk.
"I have been involved in the group for eight years, and we always welcome participation or contribution from
patients at the practice," said David Thomas chairman of the Patient Group.
"The Patient Group offers the practice a different perspective on the services we provide and provide valuable feedback on any changes that the practice wants to make," said Mrs Jane Wells, Business Partner at the practice.
Patient Group member Clive Cheesman added: "The Patient Group is an ideal forum for feedback, both good and bad and we encourage all patients to tell us what they like and don't like about the practice."
The Patient group meets four times a year with the practice to discuss improvements in the services offered and feedback that the patient group have received from the wider patient population.
Anyone who is interested in joining the group or has any suggestions regarding the practice should contact the patient group via reception at the Medical Centre.
