BUDE Junior School pupils and staff were all 'Heroes' for Children-in-Need. The School Council organised and judged many events, including a Pudsey and Blush colouring competition, a class coin collection — with the winning Poppy class earning the right to look after Pudsey for the year — a rickshaw tour and a 'Superhero/Onesie' non-school uniform day.

Teacher Bruce Paton was sponsored to wear a cow onesie and only say 'Moo!' for the entire day!

All members of the school community raised £1,000 and so Mr Paton agreed to be dunked in baked beans by the Year 6 School Council representatives in the Children in Need assembly!

Thanks and congratulations were expressed to all for their excellent efforts.
