THE Holsworthy group of the British Red Cross held a presentation tea party in the Memorial Hall last Saturday afternoon (August 11) to celebrate and to thank the volunteer in the area who each year during the annual appeals week have supported the Devon Red Cross by collecting considerable sums of money.

There was good reason to celebrate since this year they had raised £2,370.54, the highest amount collected by any group in Devon.
