Nearly 50 people took part in Amy's Walk on Saturday, June 26 which covered 11 miles on the Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow and back.

On Saturday evening over 100 people bought £4 tickets for the Amy's Walk Pig Roast at the Inn On The Green. As well as enjoying some delicious pork, those present took part in a raffle and an auction. On Sunday, June 27, 70 walkers left the Brendon Arms in Bude and took the cliff path to Widemouth and returned to the Brendon walking along the Bude Canal. T

he current total raised from various Amy's Walk events has rearly reached £3,000 which will go to Sam's House (CLIC Sargent), but organiser Jacqui Peirce said: "I still have sponsorship donations to collect from over half the walkers, and I really hope our final total will be in the area of £5,000."

Amy's Walk is held annually in memory of Amy Thorold and in support of Sam's House (CLIC).
