Sunday, April 5 was a bright sunny day although a chilly breeze blew across Stithians Show Ground for the first Carn Brea Agility Club Show of 2009. Ginny's Follies Dog Club, based near Holsworthy, was competing in a number of the classes with results as follows: Large Jumping Grades 1 and 2 — 11th place went to Margaret Goulden with Crossbreed Shani Patty Paws and clear rounds to Pat Haydon with WSD May of East Park and Gwyneth Spencer with WSD Tam's Magic. Small Jumping Grades 5-7 a clear round for Tamsin Harris-Bryant with Albert you little Monkey. Large Agility Grades 1 and 2 — 7th place to Margaret Goulden with Crossbreed Shani Patty Paws, 5th Mick Denison-Smith with WSD Big Boy Shep and a clear round to Pat Haydon with WSD May of East Park. Small Agility Grades 5-7 — 1st place to Tamsin Harris-Bryant with Albert You Little Monkey, this result takes Tamsin from Grade 5 to Grade 6. Special Steeplechase Large Grade 1-3 — Clear round to Pat Haydon with WSD May of East Park and Margaret Goulden with Crossbreed Shani Patty Paws. Large Grade 3 Jumping — 17th Place to Maggie Brown with Crossbreed Kenco White with Two Sugars and with Korsabian Red Rogue in the same class a clear round; 6th place went to Ann Lawrence with WSD Chazanndave. Large Grade 3 Agility 7th place to Dave Lawrence with WSD Chazanndave and a clear round to Maggie Brown with Crossbreed Kenco White with Two Sugars. Large Steeplechase Grades 1-7 Ann Lawrence had a clear round John Stevens Labradore Pondacre's Limited Edition. Tamsin Harris-Bryant with Albert you little Monkey attended Wye Valley Small/Medium Show on Saturday, April 4 and gained the following places: Small Grade 5 Agility 6th, Small Grade 5 Jumping 2nd and Small Grades1-7 Circular Jumping 9th. Margaret Goulden with Crossbreed Shani Patty Paws attended South Devon Agility Club Show on March 22 with the following results Grade 1 Jumping and Grade 1 Tunnel Fun clear rounds and Grade 1 Steeplechase 4th place.
