A STUDENT from Kingsteignton is taking part in a sailing challenge to circumnavigate Great Britain.

Dicky Smith is one of six students from South Devon College aboard Aspiration, Noss Marine Academy's Sigma 38 vessel.

The crew are all yacht operations foundation degree students and are tackling the voyage with two tutors, trainer Andy Wright and lecturer Dave Peart.
