THE Street Pastors scheme is to be launched in Launceston on Monday, March 11.
Street Pastors have been active in the UK for 11 years, and Bude Street Pastors recently celebrated their third year anniversary.
Volunteers work in partnership with the local police and the town council to help keep people safe while out socialising.
Street Pastors are church-based, active Christians, who have been permitted by a minister to walk around their town in teams of four between 10pm and 2am, to make sure people are safe.
