IN A letter to Mr Julian Pitt, Decisions Officer for the Department for Communities and Local Government, Mrs Marian Wood of Stratton, has further expressed her disappointment at the handling of the Binhamy Farm decision by the Secretary of State, Eric Pickles.
Mrs Wood, who previously aired her disillusion in the August 11 edition of the 'Post', revealed her fears that Bude and Stratton will be overwhelmed by the development, in an area where the infrastructure is not in place to cope.
In her letter, she said: 'You will appreciate that this proposed development has raised anger and disgust at the way in which this matter has been handled.
'How else would one expect those many of us deeply affected and disregarded to the point of contempt, to react?'
