Pembroke Dock's Concert on the Quay was transformed into one of the biggest gigs ever put on in the Pater Hall on Saturday.

Unfortunately, the weather forecast was sufficient for organisers to seek the shelter of the hall as a back-up option, but in no way was it second best, with 10 hours of brilliant music, good food and the odd drink of tea or stronger ale to keep everyone going.

The programme of performers put together by Ken and Ian, of the Pembroke Musicians Club, was exceptional and combining that with professional production skills, it was a credit to Pembrokeshire's local talent of musicians.

The 17 acts kept the audience happy and entertained with fantastic performances, and as a result, the 10 hours just seemed to fly by.

The concert was compered by Neil Thomas, who was on top form, keeping everyone entertained with his cheeky humour and the odd reminder he should be a lead singer.

The rain did finally arrive and it was good to see the audience comfortable inside to enjoy the final three hours.

Pembroke Dock Events Committee would like to thank all the acts who took part in the concert free of charge, with very special thanks to Ken, Ian and Bob for their amazing production skills.
