ST TEATH Primary School got into the Olympic spirit by holding a wide ranging athletics tournament for its pupils recently.
The competition was organised as an after school event by Jack Procter, a teaching assistant and the PE co-ordinator at St Teath.
In all 34 children took part in events including sprint, long run, javelin, relay, long jump, triple jump, hurdles and pentathlon. Every event was divided into three age related categories and the evening was rounded off with medal ceremonies for those finishing in the top three places in every event.
