St Teath AFC annual presentation night was held at Bowood Golf Club where 100 attended to see the club captain receive the Duchy League Premier Division Cup from Colin Burrell and Mike Newcombe of the league management committee. The club has gone from strength to strength in recent seasons and will now face the challenge of senior football next season in the East Cornwall Premier League Division One. Manager Will Kitto praised the efforts of all at the club and raised a toast to all players that had taken part throughout the season and paid personal thanks to all the players from the second team that supported the club for many years. The club where worthy winners of the title and although their greatest rivals Gunnislake had beaten them twice in the campaign, the most consistent team came through and the league table never lies at the end of the season. All at the club now look to another successful year and the possibility of meeting clubs such as Wadebridge, Bodmin, or local rivals Camelford in the latter rounds of the Senior Cup would be something that we would all welcome. The individual awards went to: Players' Player, James Guilfoyle;Manager's Player, Neil Polkinghorne and Ted Meagor; Top Goalscorer, James Kay; President's Players, James Mountain and James Kay.
