'Outstanding achievement' From Peter Harwood: CONGRATULATIONS to Mike Taylor on his outstanding achievement as recorded in your latest edition (the 'Post', October 25): 1,000 appearances for Stratton?United! To play for that length of time for the same club is a feat that I would think is unparalleled in football, in my opinion anyway, no doubt your ever vigilant readers will put me right. In this day and age for any sportsman to play so long requires stamina, courage, responsibility and commitment. If only our national footballers had half that sort of ability we would be World Cup winners. Well done Mike you are a shining example to the present generation. Stratton.
