A PRE-SCHOOL benefitted from the sun shining for a sponsored walk, raising fund towards improvements to its playground. Children and staff from Marhamchurch pre-school set off from the pre-school, walking down to the Weir, where they were lucky enough to see the birds of prey from Herne Falconry in action before going back up the hill to pre-school for a well deserved rest. The pre-school has been granted an extension to its site, which will double the size of its outdoor learning space. The space requires new fencing, new safety playground surface, shelter, new steps, storage and new equipment, so the pre-school's committee of volunteers launched an ambitious fundraising campaign to enable the pre-school to enhance the setting and provide much needed space for the children to play and learn.
