PEOPLE in Trinity Fields on Folly Hill have united to mark the 70th anniversary of VE Day.
As a community they provided a sit-down tea for all the children at 5pm, which included jelly, condensed milk and spam.
And the evening was based upon sharing what everybody had.
A celebratory VE Day cake was cut by Vicky Wilkinson and D-Day veteran Fred Lee, who recounted stories of his wartime adventures.
