A CHEF in a Poughill nursing home has brought back a silver medal with her Olympic themed entry in a cookery competition between care homes.
Ilona Kolasa, carer and assistant cook at Trelana Nursing Home in Poughill, has finished second in a nationwide bake-off between care homes from across Britain.
Celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager, who judged the competition, was on hand to give Ilona her award and made a speech celebrating the quality of delicacies baked up by the competing chefs.
