EAST Thorne Farm in Kilkhampton, has picked up a silver award at the recent Cornwall Tourism Awards.

East Thorne won silver in the new and emerging glamping category at the awards. This was the first year for the newly introduced category, and testament to this growing market.

The husband and wife owners of East Thorne Farm have been in Bude for five years and set the business up from scratch, after finding their ‘beautiful’ home in Bude.

They have nine yurts and four cottages, and have two girls that help the team on busy changeovers.

Co-owner, Naomi, said: “We are truly honoured to have been placed and have some exciting developments for our business to come in the coming season, with the addition of a luxury roundhouse, which is being installed over the next few months to allow for all year round luxury en-suite glamping.

“We hope to move with the ever expanding glamping market, and feel excited about what we have to offer. We love Bude, and are so proud to have represented in the awards.”
