CORNWALL County Council's Planning (Development Control) Committee refused an application for a sewage treatment works at Bossiney at their meeting on Thursday, November 27.
The committee also voted to visit the site of a proposed sewage treatment works at Trevalga.
South West Water submitted two applications for sewage treatment works, associated landscaping, land reprofiling, construction compound and ancillary works. One for the works to be situated on land south of Bossiney and one to be sited on land south of Trevalga.
County Councillors refused the application for Bossiney last Thursday but decided to visit the Trevalga site some time in the near future.
