IN THE past three weeks there have been seven burglaries in Holsworthy with cash stolen in each case.

One was from a car, one from commercial premises and two from private homes. In four cases the thief or thieves gained access because windows were insecure, a door was left open and a key was left in a porch, police said.

Last Thursday night (May 19), thieves smashed windows of three business premises in Bodmin Street and again made off with money.

The police are appealing to the public to review their security, and to lock their doors and windows.
