Sean Jack, of Holsworthy, has won a place in the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship in London this Sunday (August 16). Sean will be one of the 40 members of the Dextro Energy Team; they will take part in the Sprint Distance which includes 750m swim, 20km cycling and 5km run, the team takes part in the amateur competition. Sean will also have an overnight stay in the Mayfair Hotel; all expenses will be paid by Dextro. Sean filled out a form two months ago to take part in the team and had forgotten all about it until he had a phone call from Germany saying he had won a place and would he like to accept it. The weekend starts with the World Championship distance on Saturday and the Olympic and Sprint Distance on Sunday.
