ST KEW, Delabole and Port Isaac Primary Schools have been working with artists Alessandra Ausenda and Lizzie Black from 'Tough Dough', an arts organisation based in West Cornwall, on a project designed to bring the three schools and communities together.
The project is managed by Real Ideas Organisation (RIO), has been funded by 'Creative Partnerships'.
RIO schools team lead developer, Caroline Cleave said:?"During the planning stages it was obvious that in the current financial climate there is a real need for schools to collaborate and work together and by pooling resources and skills this was going to be the key to making the whole project work. It is also important that children in each community have the opportunity to share their heritage with children from the other schools. It is our ambition that the schools to collect, collate and use the materials and experiences as a learning resource for the future."
