Not many people can say that they passed their driving test without incurring a single fault.

Well, local Launceston lad Ryan Williamson did just that.

On Tuesday, January 15 the 17-year-old flew through his driving test at the Launceston centre, without putting a foot wrong.

Tony Williamson, Ryan’s grandfather and driving instructor, said: “He has taken to driving very naturally. “He listens very well and did exactly as he should have.

“I think it’s around one in every 4,000 that passes a test without a single fault, so Ryan has done incredibly well.”

Ryan is now the ‘driving master’ of his household, as his only target was to beat his brother’s impressive test score of just one minor.

Ryan is currently studying at Launceston College and now that he has passed his test, he will be hoping to commute to Plymouth Marjon University in the next academic year.
