WITH a solid and hard working performance Week maintain their lead at the top of Division Two, writes Chris Warneford.

Wayne Hannaford's spot kick gave them an early lead after 12 minutes and a penetrating goalkick down the wing from 'keeper Matt Oke allowed Rob Pearce to show his speed past the defender ending with a low shot into the far corner to double the score.

The hosts had a real chance to pull one back just before half time but were denied by a timely tackle in the box from Antony Sachs.

In the first minute of the second half Rob Hambly, having tested the opposition all afternoon, made a great solo run through the defence only for his final shot to be pushed away by the 'keeper. St Minver put Week under pressure for the next ten 10 but without finding the net.

Week had the game wrapped up by the 70th minute after a looping overhead shot from Sean Johns and a superb screamer of a strike by Rob Pearce completed the scoring.
