SADLY, after eight years of showing ShelterBox and giving presentations to many organisations around Bude, Robin Blake has had to give up due to personal reasons.

Responsibilities at home preclude him from being able to meet the ShelterBox trust's needs. After visiting many Women's Institutes, scout troupes, schools, open days, U3A, clubs and associations from Hartland to Boscastle, Robin has seen donations for over 125 boxes pass through the Rotary Club of Bude's account.

He said: "I thank all those I have seen and to whom I have spoken for their hospitality and their fantastically generous giving to this local yet global charity, we should, together, be very proud of this area's support of ShelterBox."
