THE BURNS' Night supper usually held at Countryman Inn, Langdon Cross, was this year moved to Launceston Town Hall as the event had outgrown its normal venue.
Mike and Evelyn White had been organising the annual event at the Countryman for the past five years. Burns' night is a chance to experience some Scottish traditions and none more so than the bag pipes.
Last year, they had had to turn away people, and so felt that a change of venue was needed.
Keith Sutherland braved the cold and "majestically" piped over 100 guests to their seats and the evening began with grace from the MC Michael White.
