THE Port Isaac RNLI harvest auction, hosted by the Old School House Hotel, recently was deemed a huge success raising more than £3,000.
Chris Bolton, Port Isaac lifeboat operations manager, gathered together with crew members and auctioneer Ross Collins, of Lodge & Thomas, to hold the fundraising event.
Thanks to the unique and humerous style of auctioneering and the tremendous support given by all those who donated and bid for such a wide range of donated items — including a beautiful cake marking the occasion, made by Debbie Tidey — a record figure of £3,400 of funds were raised over the evening.
The Port Isaac crew and committee expressed their thanks and appreciation to all concerned.
