A RESTRAINING order was imposed at Liskeard Magistrates' Court on April 1 after a Launceston man pleaded guilty to harassment without violence.

The court heard that between March 28 and March 30, at Launceston, Terence James Shea aged 62 of Roydon Road, Launceston pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of Deborah Shea in that he made a number of unwanted calls and emails.

A guilty plea was indicated and he was discharged conditionally for 12 months. A restraining order was made by the court stating that the defendant must not contact Deborah Shea in any way except via a

solicitor. The order will last until September 30, 2010. Mr Shea was also ordered to pay £60 Crown Prosecution Service costs.
