A LAUNCESTON restaurant raised money for the town's memory café charity by cooking up a special dish in honour of the late Sir Terry Pratchett.
The author, who suffered from Alzheimer's, died last Thursday.
Firebrand Bar and Restaurant owner, Joe Thomson grew up reading Pratchett's books and decided to raise funds for local Alzheimer's and dementia sufferers in his memory by creating a special and donating half the takings to charity.
Joe said: "Sausage inna bun — one of Discworld's most famous foods — is a recurring theme throughout the series and I thought fans would be keen to tuck in for a good cause.
"Alzheimer's is a cruel disease which affects so many people locally. Launceston Memory Café does a great job supporting them and their carers so we wanted to take the opportunity to do our bit to help."
