HOLSWORTHY'S Densham Court recently celebrated the 30-year anniversary of their sheltered housing. The open afternoon organised by the staff gave the public a chance to look around the accommodation that they have to offer. More than 60 people, including the deputy mayor, Pam Johns, and the Portreeve, Phil?Cole, went along to the event, which involved raffles, cream teas and live music performed by Terry Sillifant. Densham Court has offered sheltered housing for people aged 60 and over and encourages residents to live independently, although offers support when it is needed and organises coffee mornings and other social events.
