LAUNCESTON and District Cats Protection held an autumn fayre at the Parkhouse Centre, Bude on Saturday, October 15.
This was very well supported and the hall was full of a variety of stalls.
As well as 2017 cards/calendars/diaries, there were lots of jigsaws, books, CDs and DVDs, tombola, bric-a-brac, a large raffle and a large, very tasty selection of cakes and preserves.
Refreshments were served all day.
As there was also a public meeting in one of the rooms the kitchen was kept busy serving refreshments before and after the meeting.
A spokesperson said: “The event raised the record-breaking amount for our Bude events of just over £780, which was amazing.
“We would like to thank all who came and supported us which made this such a successful event and, of course, to all our helpers who worked so hard to set up, serve, and clear away.”
