MORWENNA Photography at Bude came joint second in the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers weekly wedding competition.
It was the first time Morwenna Photography had entered, and they submitted their group photo of all the men at Emma and Laurence Voysey's wedding for the 'Large Group' category.
There was no prize as such, but the company received the recognition of being voted for by other photographers.
Morwenna Photography did receive a certificate 'in recognition of excellence within the Westcountry wedding industry' when they were announced as finalists in the Westcountry Wedding Awards.
Allan and Kim Gouldson, from Morwenna Photography, said: "We are really passionate about getting it right for our clients and believe this is shown by the comments on our website. This is only our second year on our own since training to be wedding and portrait photographers so we are really pleased as we are already getting bookings for next year."
