IN the Stephens League Stratton Green team visited Westward Ho! and on mats that were so tricky even they had trouble with them, we came away with a very good win for all 3 points, writes Dave Clark.

On our rink it was nip and tuck all the way and we only just held on for a 1 shot victory. Ray just romped away on his rink and never looked like losing.

Our Blues entertained mighty Beaford and a great, and unexpected, win saw us move from 3rd from bottom to 3rd from top of Stephens League Division 1.

Away again, our Greens travelled to Parkham, and in a very exciting game came away with a good win and almost all the points. Ray's rink was down 16 shots on the 16th end but scored 15 shots on the last 5 ends to lose by just 1 shot.
