STAFF at Bude Ambulance Station have extended their grateful thanks to the mystery person who provided them with a ‘random act of kindness gift’.

Jess Marsh, who works for the station, posted a photograph of a box of chocolates and a note left for staff on Tuesday, February 27, on the Facebook page, Bude Banter.

The note read: “I hope you find this gift along your way, I hope it helps to make your day.

“When the chance arises all I ask is to complete a very tiny task. Do something kind however small, for love and kindness conquers all. Enjoy your day!”

Jess said another member of staff had found the gift, but that everyone was astounded at the kind gesture.

She said: “I thought it was such a kind, thoughtful gesture and definitely worthy of a thank you. Such kind gestures are very much appreciated from the ambulance staff. With the increasing stress and pressures put upon us, it’s nice to get that reminder of being appreciated.”
