A LAUNCH party was held on the lawn of Valency House beside the harbour, Boscastle, hosted by Mrs Jane Castling recently, to celebrate the publication of Forrabury and Minster Parish Council’s Parish Plan.
After three years’ work including a comprehensive survey of nearly 600 households in the village, the parish has now put forward a composite plan for the future.
The team responsible included: Arthur Bannister, Jane Castling, Brian Clarke, Chris Jarvis, Myrna Lester, Margaret Pickering, Chris Rodda and Peter Steege.
Analysis of the survey results was conducted by Jonathan Stirrup.
Unfortunately both Peter Steege and Brian Clarke died before the plan was published.
A spokesperson for the group said their contribution was much appreciated and they will be sadly missed.
The team is also very grateful for the encouragement and financial support of the parish council and county council.
Copies of the booklet are available for £10 each from the clerk to the parish by emailing [email protected]
