THE Brendon Arms in Bude recently held an Easter egg raffle for a special cause in the community.

The establishment held the Easter raffle, along with a Jack Nowell signed rugby ball raffle. All proceeds were raised for Bude charity, Talan’s Trust, which helps fund research and treatment for childhood cancer.

An astonishing total of £600 was raised, which was gratefully received by Sarah Penny, mother of Bude youngster Talan who died in 2017 from a rare form of cancer.
