BBC RADIO One’s breakfast show presenter, Greg James, has introduced a new and exciting challenge this week — Pass the Pasty.
The mission has seen a Cornish pasty made in Padstow early this morning start its journey to Aberdeenshire in Scotland, to be delivered to Radio One listener Sarah Walker, who has never tried a traditional Cornish pasty!
Greg has had a helping hand from Danny at Chough Bakery in Padstow, who prepared and made the pasty this morning. From there, the pasty made its first leg of the trip on a ferry from Padstow to Rock, and was then collected and driven over the border into Devon. It is expected the pasty will make its arrival in Aberdeenshire by the end of this week.
It is believed the pasty has made an appearance in Holsworthy so far.
